Marion Gardyne, textile artist and printmaker will lead a new series of classes in 2026 using a variety of textiles and mixed media to create artworks, useful objects, printed materials etc. Using a large supply of our haberdashery scraps participants will do sewing, weaving, hand stitching, printing, etc on a variety of surfaces.
In Marion’s words …
“I am looking forward to working with groups using Indian Khadi Paper which is made from cotton rags. The paper is strong with a surface texture and deckled edges.
You can paint, print, glue, hand stitch, or machine stitch on this versatile, textured paper and create an individual, layered and textured collage artwork. This is an opportunity to work with a variety of materials to make your own individual creations at the relaxed and welcoming workshop space in Causeyside St. Paisley.”
