Booking a ticket
Tickets are issued on behalf of The Art Department Paisley Ltd, for the workshop or event, and are subject to the following terms and conditions, together with all other statements or directives shown on the booking website at time of purchase.
Customers should note that tickets are sold by The Art Department, Paisley Ltd, a registered Scottish charity (SC023620) and not-for-profit company limited by guarantee having its registered office at 9-11 Causeyside Street, Paisley PA1 1UW. The company uses an agent website for bookings (Ticketinghub.com) and a payment processor called Stripe. The charity pays commission to both processors. No booking fees or additional charges are passed on to the customer.
The funds raised from ticket sales go towards the purchase of art materials and artists’ fees to carry out the workshop activity. The Art Department must schedule and plan its activities well in advance of purchases and it is reasonable to expect that sales funds are required to afford the programme. Should there be insufficient funds or bookings for a class it may be cancelled at short notice. The Art Department reserves the right to cancel any classes. Refunds will be made for classes cancelled by the company. However, cancellations by customers affect our ability to plan and schedule and afford classes and as such cancellations by customers and requests for refunds are not approved.
FREE Tickets & Fair Use – we offer a number of FREE tickets for our workshops. These are subsidised by our funders. We request that customers book and use these fairly. One place per email/customer. They are not available for bulk booking. Groups should apply by email for larger numbers. If FREE places are booked and not used we will monitor these bookings to discourage repeated non-attenders. We do maintain some available capacity for walk up on the doors but this is subject to availability.
Ticket Terms and Conditions
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event has been cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled.
Artists leading workshops or events may be subject to change for personal or work reasons. Substitute workshop artists may be drafted in to cover unexpected last-minute absences. These substitutions are not reasons for refunds unless a class or workshop scheduled is completely cancelled.
Personal expenses including but not limited to travel and accommodation are booked at your own risk and will not be compensated. It is your responsibility to check your tickets; mistakes cannot always be rectified.
Tickets can be exchanged for alternative dates of any other workshop at the same value as the original purchase. You should provide by email copies of your original ticket purchase order with a written request for an exchange.
Your booking information is stored online in our ticketinghub.com portal. You do not need to print tickets or orders for attending as your details will be verifiable the sales desk on arrival. You should keep any emails confirming orders for your own records.
Where a concession is claimed, proof of identity and concession entitlement may be required to purchase the ticket and upon entry to the event e.g., age or student status.
The Art Department reserves the right to adjust prices, special offers and incentive rates at any time without notice. Such sales are exclusive and time limited and not a reason for any refund request partial or otherwise. Tickets purchased or reserved cannot be resold for commercial gain and we reserve the right to cancel any tickets that are being sold by unauthorised third parties without notice or refund.

Admission Restrictions
All persons entering The Art Department do so at their own risk and we are not liable in any way whatever for any loss or damage suffered by them or to any property brought by them to The Art Department. All persons entering and using the facilities of The Art Department are, responsible for ensuring that any equipment or clothing brought by them to The Art Department is free from defects and in good working order or condition. Any person using such defective equipment or inadequate clothing which results in, or causes any loss or injury to, any person or his, her or their property, shall indemnify The Art Department from all liability arising therefrom.

Personal Data
Customer details are managed in accordance with The Art Department data protection policy. As filming and recording may be carried out at The Art Department from time to time the ticket holder consents to being included in such films and recordings and the use, workshop or event, storage, distribution and broadcasting of such films and recordings (including any copies made) without payment.
